This 6-day adventure takes you from Kathmandu to the heart of Lamjung, where you’ll witness the honey hunting tradition firsthand.

  • Day 1: Departure from Kathmandu; Drive to Besisahar from Kathmandu across beautiful villages, landscape, river via bus/jeep(5-7 hours) and explore the local town, food and overnight stay.
  • Day 2: Trek(7-9 hours) / Jeep(2-3 hours) to Ghalegaun from Besisahar, A beautiful village surrounded by Annapurna circuit with traditional architecture, cultural heritage, warm hospitality and natural beauty. Overnight stay at community homestay at Ghalegaun.
  • Day 3: Explore the local community of Ghalegaun, A local village famous for its cultural heritage and natural beauty. Meet the local honey hunters and make plan for hunting. Evening camp fire with cultural dance and authentic food, beverages.
  • Day 4: Honey hunting ceremony. Trek/jeep to honey hunting destination from Ghalegaun(1-3 hours) and witness the ancient honey hunting culture, taste freshly harvested wild honey and back to Ghalegaun community homestay for overnight stay.
  • Day 5: Morning breakfast and trek/jeep to Besisahar from Ghalegaun and overnight stay at Beshisahar.
  • Day 6: Travel back to Kathmandu from Besisahar via bus/jeep.
